We must conserve our forest because :
(i) They are source of raw materials for our industries.
(ii) They provide us with wood to make furniture and buildings.
(iii)They are source of medicine.
(iv) They provide firewood and food.

(i) Overgrazing
(ii) Building roads and dams
(iii) Natural calamities like forest fire.
