A 15 m cable is cut into two pieces such that the first piece is four times larger than the second. Find the length of each piece.

Assume that the first piece is x

So, x+1/4x = 15

4x + x = 60

5x = 60

x = 12

So, the first piece is 12 m and second is 3 m
