 \(\sqrt{32}\)

√32

 = \(\sqrt{16\times2}\) = \(4\sqrt{2}\)

Now, 4√2 x √2 = 4 x 2 = 8, which is a rational number.

∴ √2 is the simplest form of the rationalising factor of \(\sqrt{32}\).
