If 8n ends with 0, then it must have 5 and 2 as a factor.

But we know that only prime factor of 8is 2.

.'. 8n =  (2 x 2 x 2)n = 2n x 2n x 2n

= 16 x 9

= 144

To check HCF and LCM by using formula

HCF (a,b) x LCM (a, b) = (a x b)

or, 4 x 144 = 16 x 36

or, 576 = 576

Hence, LHS = RHS
