Solve for x and y :

ax + by = (a+b)/2,

3x + 5y = 4

Y do v multiply by 5 in eqn 1 and 2b in eqn 2... please help me am confused

Multiplying eqn. (i) by 5 and (ii) by 2b, and subtracting,
