For vacuum `t=nlambda_(0)` ….(i)
For air `t=(n+1)lambda_(0)` …….(ii)
From equations (i) and (ii)
`t=(lambda)/(mu-1)=(6xx10^(-7))/(1.0003-1)(mu=(lambda_(0))/(lambda_(a)))`
`=2xx10^(-3)m=2mm.`
