Best answer

Radius of tube = 10 cm

Edge of cube = a = 8 cm

So,

Volume of water displaced = Volume of the cube

\(\pi r^2 h = a^3\)

\(\frac{22}7 \times 10^2 \times h = 8 \times 8\times8\)

\(\frac{22}7 \times 10^2 \times h = 512\)

\(h = \frac{512\times 7}{22\times 100}\)

\(h = 1.629\) cm

Let the height o water raised measured = h cm

∴ Volume of water displaced in cylinder
