Best answer

The volume of the metallic sphere = π

The volume of the right circular cylinder = πr2h

= π (0.5)h

Equating the volume of the metallic sphere and right circular cylinder, we get

π = π x (0.5)2 h

\(\frac 1{(0.5)^2}\) = h

\(\frac 1{0.25}\) = h

4 = h

Hence, the height of the cylinder is 4cm.

Volume of cylinder = volume of sphere,
