1. Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974.
2. Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981.
3. Environment (Protection) Act, 1986.
4. There are different laws and rules which have been made for the disposal of hazardous waste, biomedical waste, solid waste and prevention of noise pollution.
