A convex lens of focal length 20 cm is placed co-axially with a concave mirror of focal length 10 cm at a distance of 50 cm apart from each other. A beam of light coming parallel to the principal axis is incident on the convex lens. Find the position of the final image formed by this combination. Best answer

The final image is formed at the distance of 30 cm from the convex mirror (or 45 cm from the convex lens) to the right of the convex mirror.

The final image formed is a virtual image.

In question it is given that the light beam is parallel to principle axis then why it is taken yo be coming out of a point in the solution?
