Geitonogamous flowering plants are genetically autogamous because the pollen grains from the anther of one flower are transferred to the stigma of another flower of same plant. But however, structurally they will be said to be cross-pollinated because the pollen from one flower is transferred to the stigma of a different flower involving pollinating agents.
