A point P with position vector \(\frac{-14\hat{i} + 39\hat{j} + 28\hat{k}}{5}\) (-14i + 39j + 28k)/5 divides the line joining A(-1, 6, 5) and B in the ratio 3 : 2 then find the point B.

Let A, B and P have position vectors \(\overline{a},\overline{b}\) and \(\overline{p}\) respectively.

Now, P divides AB internally in the ratio 3 : 2

∴ coordinates of B are (-4, 9, 6).
