Best answer

3x2 – 2 xy – 3y2 = 0

∴ 3x2 – 3√3xy + √3xy – 3y2 = 0

∴ 3x(x – √3y) + y(x – √3y) = 0

∴ (x – √3y)(3x + √3y) = 0

∴ the separate equations of the lines are

∴ x – √3y = 0 and 3x + √3y = 0.
