(i) Remains or impressions of dead organisms of the past which have become extinct now preserved in rocks are known as fossils.

(ii) Fossils provide evidences of evolution. They are infact the written documents of evolution. They show as to how and along what lines the evolution has taken place. For example fossil of archaeopteryx looks like a bird but it has many features of reptiles too. This shows that it is a connecting link between . reptiles and birds and therefore suggest that aves have evolved from reptiles.

(iii) Values exhibited by teacher : Teacher is dutiful and committed to his teaching profession. He has the ability to explain in easily understandable manner with the help of example.
