डॉक्टर और नर्स के कार्यो में बहुत अन्तर होता है । जहाँ डॉक्टर मरीज की जांच करता हैं, रोग का पता लगाकर सम्बन्धित इलाज निश्चित करता है वहीं नर्स उसे दवा देकर, इंजेक्शन लगाकर, बी पी , डायबिटीज इत्यादि की जाँच के लिए खून निकालकर मरीज की सेवा करती है ।
