Liberalisation refers to the relaxation of government rules and regulations commerce. However, it would be wrong to say that libilisation policy have bencefitted all sections in India. For example, sectors such as software and information technology have been benefitted by liberalisation. However, sectors such as clectronics, trade and automoblies and oilseeds lose because of their inability to compete with the foreign producers. Mo eover, farmers failcd to get subsidies and support prices which were essential for their livelihood.
