Why is that the father never passes on the genes for haemophilia to his son ?

Haemophilia is a sex linked trait. The gene for it is located on X chromosome only, not chromosome. Father contributes only Y chromosome to the son and never passes X chromosomes to the son. Therefore father never passes of haemophilic gene to his son.
