`k+1/x=3`
`(3x^(2)+3-4x)/(x^(2)+1-x)=((3x^(2))/x+3/x-4)/((x^(2))/x+1/x-x/x)=(3(x+1/x)-4)/((x+1/x)-1)`
`=(3xx3-4)/(3-1)=(9-4)/(3-1)=5/2`
