H - परमाणु के n वीं कक्षा में इलेक्ट्रॉन की ऊर्जा
`E_(n) = (-13*6)/(n^(2))eV`
मूल ऊर्जा स्तर ( n = 1) में इलेक्ट्रॉन की ऊर्जा
`E_(1) = (-13*6)/(1^(2)) = -13.6eV`
चौथी ऊर्जा स्तर की ऊर्जा (n = 4)
`E_(4) = (-13*6)/(4^(2)) = -0.85eV`
`therefore Delta E = E_(4) - E_(1)`
`= -0*85 - (- 13*6) = +12*75 eV`
`= 12*75xx 1*6xx10^(-19)J`
`therefore Delta E = (hc)/(lamda)`
`therefore = (hc)/(Delta E) = (6*63xx10^(-34)xx3xx10^(8))/(12*75xx1*6xx10^(-19))`
`= 0.975xx10^(-7)m = 975Å.`
तथा आवृत्ति `u = (c)/(lamda) = (3xx10^(8))/(0.975xx10^(-7))`
`= 3*077xx10^(15)` हर्ट्ज ।
