36 A student connects 10 dry cells each of emf \( E \) and internal resistance \( r \) in series, but by mistake the one cell gets wrongly connected. Option c 8E , 10r
● Total emf = 9E - E = 8E ( minus due to polarity change)
● Internal resistance does not depend on polarity so  R = 10r
