(i) Lyophobic are liquid(dispersion medium)- hating and lyophilic are liquid (dispersion medium)-loving colloids.

(ii) Solution is a Homogenous mixture while colloid is heterogenous mixture/does not show tyndall effect - shows Tyndall effect.

(iii) Homogeneous catalysis: reactant and catalyst are in same phase - Heterogeneous catalysis: reactant and catalyst are not in same phase.
