Find the slope of tangent to the curve y = 3x2 - 6 at the point on it whose x-coordinate is 2.

Given, y = 3x2 - 6

On differentiating both sides w.r.t.x, we get

dy/dx = 6x

Now, slope of tangent

Hence, required slope is 12.
