Given matrix equation is

On equating the corresponding elements, we get

x + y z = 9   .......(i)

x + z = 5    ........(ii)

y + z = 7    ........(iii)

On putting the value of x + z from Eq. (ii) in Eq. (i),we get

y + 5 = 9

y = 4

On putting y = 4 in Eq.(iii), we get z = 3

Again, putting z = 3 in Eq. (ii), we get x = 2

x - y + z = 2-4+3 = 1
