Reason: The p-region of two p-n junction diodes back to back will form the base of n-p-n transistor.
A. If both assertion and reason are true and reason is the correct explanation of assertion.

Correct Answer - D
Two p-n junctions placed back to back cannot work as n-p-n transistor because in transistor the concentration of doping of p-type semiconductor is less as compared to doping of n-type semiconductor.
