An engineer finds out that there dependence, F(x) on hours worked x, as F(x) = P + Q/x2, where P and Q are the constants or different employees of his company.

Express a differential equation between F(x) and x.

Dividing (ii) by (i),

This is the required differential equation

If P and Q are +ve, Q/x2 is decreasing function.

P is constant. However Q/x > 0, for all x > 0.

So, F(x) is always more than P, but a decreasing function
