Displacement from mean position = A-A/2 = A/2.

When the motion starts from the positive extreme position, y = A cosωt.

Let at x= A , time t =0 so in general x = A cos wt, where w = 2pi/T

when x = A/ 2 the time will be t = 1/w cos^-1(1/2) = T/(2pi)* pi/3= T/6
