(i) Chemical formula: CaOC2 

Chemical name: Calcium oxycliloricle
(ii) CaOCl2(s)    +  CO2(g) ----> CaCO3(s)     + Cl2(g)
Bleaching powder     Carbon dioxide     calcium carbonate     Chlorine
(iii) Bleaching powder is used in water treatment plants for disinfecting drinking water to make it free of germs.
