In comparing the resistance of two coils P and Q with the help of a metre-bridge arrangement, a balance point is obtained when the sliding contact is 50 cm from the zero end of the wire. The resistances P and Q are then interchanged and balance point is obtained at 120 cm from the zero end. Deduce the ratio of the resistances P and Q and the length of the wire.
