— Hitler's anti-Jewish decree one after another made the Franks migrate to hospitable Netherlands.

— When Nazis invaded Netherland, Margot Frank was called up for deportation—she did not go and they straightaway moved to their hiding place—'Annexe'—tensions and quarrels.

— Dutch Nazi policemen suddenly stormed upstairs on August 4, 1944—arrested them—carried in cattle trucks to Auschwitz, the Nazi death camp in Southern Poland.

— Separated Otto Frank from his wife and daughters—Mrs. Frank died—many lost their lives.

— Anne saw hundreds of Hungarian Jewish children—standing naked in freezing rain—waiting to be led to the gas chambers.

— A close friend of Anne saw her—cold and hungry—head shaved and her skeleton-like form draped in a coarse, shapless stripled garb of the concentration camp — pitifully weak, her body racked by typhoid fever.

— Anne died in March 1945, a few days after Margot.

Detailed Answer :

In 1933 Adolf Hitler started issuing decrees against Jews which forced many Jews to emigrate. It also made the Franks migrate to hospitable Netherlands. When Nazis invaded Netherlands, Margot Frank was called up for deportation but instead of going there, the Franks moved to their hiding place, 'Annexe'. There they had to go through tensions and quarrels. On Aug. 1944, Dutch Nazi policemen suddenly stormed upstairs and arrested them, then carried them in cattle trunk to Auschiwitz, the Nazi death camp in Southern Poland. Otto Frank was separated from his wife and daughters. Mrs Frank and many others died. Anne saw hundreds of Hungarian Jewish children, standing naked in freezing rain. Many people were sent to gas chambers where they were killed by poisonous gas. A close friend of Anne also saw her cold and hungry with her head shaved and skeleton like form, draped in coarse shapeless striped garb at the concentration camp. Being pitifully weak, her body was racked by typhoid fever. A few days after Margot's death, Anne also died in March 1945.
