(i) the position of the image. 

(ii) nature of the image

Given object distance u = –12 cm, Focal length f = 8 cm.

We know lense formula 1/f = 1/v - 1/u

(i) Position of image V = + 24 cm., Right side of lense

(ii) Nature of image is Real, inverted and magnified.
