Figure 1 shows the details parts of a Sleeve and Cotter Joint. Assemble all the parts correctly and then draw to scale 1:1; its following views: 

(i) Front View, upper half in section

(ii) Side View looking from the left end

Print the title and scale used. Draw projection symbol. 

Give important dimensions.

Figure 2 shows the assembly of a 'Flange Pipe Joint'. Disassemble the parts correctly and then draw to scale 1:1 its following views of the following components. Keeping the same position of both Flange B and Gasket with respect to H.P and V.P.

(ii) GASKET 

(a) Full sectional front view

(b) Left side view

SLEEVE AND COTTER JOINT (Assembly) 

(i) FRONT VIEW UPPER HALF IN SECTION:

(a) Drawing the upper half of sleeve with clearance and with hatching lines and drawing the lower half of sleeve.

(b) Drawing both the cotters in upper half and in lower half.

(c) Drawing both the rods with clearance and conventional ends with hatching lines.

(ii) SIDE VIEW LOOKING FROM THE LEFT END:

(a) Drawing three circles and conventional hatching at the end of rod.

(b) Drawing cotter.

(c) Drawing cutting plane.

DETAILS :

(a) Printing title. 

(b) Scale used.

(c) Projection symbol.
