Correct option is (D) Q4

x > 0, y < 0

Then x > 0, -y > 0

\(\Rightarrow\) x - y > 0

Now, y - x = -(x - y)

\(\Rightarrow\) y - x < 0   \((\because\) x - y > 0)

\(\because\) x - y > 0 & y - x < 0

Therefore, (x - y, y - x) lies in \(Q_4\)  \((4^{th}\) quadrant)
