Why fluorine is not used in formation of alkane from alkyl halides?

Alkyl halides are highly reactive organic compound except alkyl fluorine alkyl fluorine not generally used in the formation of alkanes because the carbon - fluorine bond being to stronger, infact stronger than C-C or C-H.

So, that C-F bond can not be break under normal conditions.

Therefore, Alkyl fluorine are not used in the formation of alkane.
