The acidity of liquid HF can be increased by adding one of several inorganic fluorides that are Lewis acids and accept F ion (for example, BF3 or SbF5).

Correct answer is (d) a and c both

Acidity of liquid HF will increased by adding Lewis acid fluorides-

ex - BF3, SiF4, SbF5 etc.

SiF4 + 2HF → H2[SiF6\(\rightleftharpoons\) 2H+ + [SiFb]-2

BF3 + HF → HBF4 \(\rightleftharpoons\) H+ + BF4
