Best answer

Correct option is (D) 1

\(2^{x+3}=4^{x+1}\)

Then \(2^{x+3}=(2^2)^{x+1}\)

\(\Rightarrow\) \(2^{x+3}=2^{2x+2}\)

\(\Rightarrow\) x+3 = 2x+2

\(\Rightarrow\) 2x - x = 3 - 2

\(\Rightarrow\) x = 1
