Explanation:

The cytoskeleton is a fibrous or fine tubular structure which constitute the supportive structures of the cell. It is a dynamic structure that maintains cells shape, enables some cell motion and plays important role in both intra-cellular transport and cell division. The cytoskeleton is made up of three elements within the cell. They are - microtubules (made up of tubulin protein), microfilaments (made up actin) and intermediate filaments (made up of structural proteins e.g., keratin, vimentin and desmin).
