Best answer

Given, A(x1 , y1 ), B(h, k) and slope of line AB = m

Slope of line AB = \(\frac {y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}\)

∴ m = \(\frac {k-y_1}{h-x_1}\)

∴ k – y1 = m (h – x1)
