Best answer

Option (c) is correct

Explanation :

The decomposition reaction of H2O2

H2O2-> H2O +1/2O2

So 1/2 mole or 11.2L O2 at STP is obtained from 1mole or 34g H2O2

Hence 1000cc or 1L O2 at STP will be obtained from (34/11.2)g H2O2

So H2Ois 3.03%.Given percent strength does not match.

Again 100cc of the sample produces 1000cc O2 at STP  or 10 times the volume of the sample. Hence strength of the sample is 10 volume

Correct option (c) 10 volume H2O2

Explanation:

or 1 mL of H2O2 will give 10 mL of Oat STP Thus, its volume strength is 10 volume.
