For explanation: The equivalent resistance 1/Rt = (1/R1)+(1/R2)+(1/R3)+(1/R4). And R1, R2, R3, R4 are   1Ω, 2Ω, 3Ω, 4Ω  respectively. => Rt = 0.48Ω.
