  • Part-IV of the Indian Constitution deals with the Directive Principles of the State Policy (Article 36 to Article 51).
    • The Fundamental Duties of the citizens are enumerated in Part-IVA and Article-51A.
  • Article 37: Provisions of Part-IV shall not be enforceable by any court.
  • Casting a vote in an election is not a fundamental duty, It is a legal right. Hence, option 3 is correct

  •  Fundamental Duties:
    • They were originally not present in the constitution and instead were added in the constitution via the 42nd Constitutional Amendment Act, 1976.
    • The Fundamental Duties in the Indian Constitution are inspired by the Constitution of the erstwhile USSR.
      They were added under Part IV A of the constitution and originally 10 FDs were added.
      • The 11th Constitutional duty was added by the 86th constitutional amendment act, 2002.
