  •  Extinct Species:
    • Extinct Species is the non-availability of live individuals of that species anywhere in the world. 
    • Extinct Species in India include Malabar civet, pink-headed Duck, Himalayan Quail, Indian Rhinoceros, Asiatic Cheetah, Two horned Rhinoceros. Hence options b and f are correct. 
    • Asiatic Cheetah:
      • It is a critically Endangered Species found only in Iran.
      • Cheetah was found to be extinct in India in mid 20th century. 
      • Now the government is looking for a cheetah Reintroduction program.
