Correct Answer - Option 4 : 21000

Given:

A ∶ B ∶ C = 3 ∶ 7 ∶ 11

B - A = Rs. 4000

Calculation:

A ∶ B ∶ C = 3 ∶ 7 ∶ 11

A = 3k, B = 7k, C = 11k

Now,

⇒ B - A = 4000

⇒ 7k - 3k = 4000

⇒ 4k = 4000

⇒ k = 1000

Total Amount divided will be

⇒ A + B + C

⇒ 3k + 7k + 11k

⇒ 21k

⇒ 21 × 1000

⇒ 21000

∴ The total amount is Rs. 21000.
