Correct Answer - Option 1 : 260

Given:

Marks scored by Mr. X = 230 marks

Total marks = 750 marks

Concept used:

Passing marks = Marked scored + Marks by which he got failed

Calculation:

Marks by which Mr. X got failed = 4% of 750

⇒ (750 × 4)/100

⇒ 30

Passing marks = 230 + 30

⇒ Passing marks = 260

∴ Passing marks is 260.
