Correct Answer - Option 3 : \(\frac{32}{7}\)

Calculation:

Let x = 3a and y = 4a

Now putting the values of x and y in the expression we'll get

(4x + 5y) ∶ (5x - 2y)

⇒ (4 × 3a + 5 × 4a) ∶ (5 × 3a - 2 × 4a)

⇒ (12a + 20a) ∶ (15a - 8a)

⇒ 32a ∶ 7a = 32 ∶ 7 = 32/7

∴ The value of the expression is \(\frac{32}{7}\)
