Correct Answer - Option 2 : Carbon dioxide

The correct answer is Carbon dioxide.

  • Carbon dioxide (CO2) gas is present in the bottle of a cold drink.
  • When the coke is made in a Coca-Cola plant, the workers pump carbon dioxide into the coke to carbonate it.
    • It is because of this gas (CO2) that we burb.
    • This gas is carbonic acid.
    • It is because of this gas that the cold drink has an acidic flavor and an interesting mouthfeel.
  • When you open a soda can or bottle, the carbon dioxide will begin to come out of the soda and into the air.
  • When we put cold-drink s in cold(refrigerator )the water-soluble gas (CO2) molecules become less energetic and the longer they stay in solution.
  • This process is known as carbonation, which is a process that causes the water to become effervescent.

  • The carbon dioxide that can be dissolved in water is described by Henry's Law.
  • A soft drink is a drink that usually contains water (often carbonated), a sweetener, and a natural artificial flavoring.
  • Henry's Law
    • In physical chemistry, Henry's law is a gas law that states that the amount of dissolved gas in a liquid is proportional to its partial pressure above the liquid.
    • The proportionality factor is called Henry's law constant. It was formulated by the English chemist William Henry, who studied the topic in the early 19th century.
    • In his publication about the number of gases absorbed by water, he described the results of his experiments:
