Given:

Equal length of each roll cut = 10 pieces

At one min he cut = 45 cuts

Calculation:

Number of cuts made to cut a roll into 10 pieces = 9

In one minute = 45

In 24 min = (45 × 24) rolls

Required number of rolls =[(45 × 24)÷ 9]

⇒ 120 rolls

∴ Rolls cut in 24 min is 120
