Correct Answer - Option 2 : 75 %

Given:

Quantity of pure milk = 72 liters

Quantity of water = 24 liters

Formula use:

Quantity of Product = Quantity of pure milk + Quantity of water

Percentage of milk in the product = (Quantity of milk / Quantity of Product) × 100

Calculation:

Quantity of Product = Quantity of pure milk + Quantity of water

⇒ Quantity of Product = 72 + 24

⇒ Quantity of Product = 96 liters

Now,

Percentage of milk in the product = (Quantity of milk / Quantity of Product) × 100

⇒ Percentage of milk in the product = \({72\over 96}×100\)

⇒ Percentage of milk in the product = 75%

Therefore, the percentage of milk in the resultant product is 75%.

Hence, the correct answer is 75%.
