Correct Answer - Option 3 : 0.42 unit

CONCEPT:

  • Energy: The capacity to do work is called energy.
    • Its S.I unit is Joule (J).
  • Power (P): The rate of work done is called power.

Energy (E) = Power (P) × Time (t)

CALCULATION:

Energy = Power × Time

Time (t) = 7 hour

P = 60 watt = 60/1000 = 0.06 kWh

Energy = 0.06 × 7 = 0.42 unit

  • Hence 0.42 unit will be the energy consumed.
