Correct Answer - Option 3 : MMR

Explanation:

Vaccine Temperature
Polio 2–8°C, do not freeze
MMR 2–8°C, lyophilized vaccines may be maintained at freezer temperatures
DPT/DT 2–8°C, do not freeze

The commonly administered measles, mumps, rubella (MMR) vaccine can be stored either frozen or refrigerated, while the MMRV vaccine that also contains the live varicella virus must be frozen.

  •  BCG is a live attenuated vaccine.
  • It contains weak bacteria. Therefore, it is stored at a temperature of 2–8°C (36–46°F).
  • If the live vaccines are frozen then the weak bacteria is destroyed. Therefore, the vaccine is not frozen.
  • The high temperature will also destroy the bacteria.
