Correct Answer - Option 1 : Billiards

The correct answer is Billiards.

  • Break, Cannons, Cue. In off, Jigger, Scratch are common terminologies in Billiards.
    • The break is usually the first shot of the game.
    • A cannon is a shot in which the cue ball (that struck by a player's cue, either white or spot) strikes the opponent's cue ball and the red ball, in either order, in the same shot.
      • This stroke is worth two points and allows the same player to continue.
    • Cue is the stick with which the game is played.
    • In-off is the scoring stroke in billiards when the cue ball goes into a pocket after striking the object ball.
    • A scratch occurs even if one or more object balls are pocketed in the same shot that results in the cue ball being pocketed.
    • Jigger is a  type of rest, with a straight shaft and "x"-shaped head for resting the cue upon.
